This sculpture is a piece I did to inspire my wife, myself, and hopefully others. The thought was to remind us that once we make it up our own hill, to stop and look down and give others "a Helping Hand". As for the glaze, I thought it was appropriate that it felt like a statue, to honor this thought. And much like a sculpture, to show it's relevance in the past as well as the future.
