I guess I just wanted to do my own version of "David". I chose to portray him in a way that I can relate to. David is on his heels, he's looking up at his opponent as he seems to be moving backwards. I wanted to show the fear and anxiety that he felt in facing Goliath. But his arm that holds his sling-shot is strong and ready, and hey, we all know what happens.
