I'm hoping this piece will be a crowd pleaser, especially around valentines day. But seriously, I like showing an idea in a very simply and bold way. The elements I really like about this piece are, the strength of the figure balanced by the emotion that is in his expression. It feels as if he is saying goodbye, and mourning the loss of his heart as he offers it up. Bittersweet?
